How do you capture a story in a bottle?
A small galaxy in a Greek province. Their roots lie in agricultural life, enriched with values and expertise passed down from generation to generation. Liogennito is not just olive oil; it’s the soul of a family, the result of years of dedication and love for the land.
Every drop carries the authenticity of the Greek countryside. The olives are cultivated with care and respect for nature, adhering to the principles of organic farming. From the grove to your table, Liogennito brings a taste of tradition and a promise of superior quality.
Liogennito is just such an attempt.
Voila, its people!
Here I am
I’m Maria, the face behind Liogennito. I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by grandparents, great-grandparents, and people from what we often call "another era." Beside them, I was nurtured in the value of respect for olive cultivation and the importance of organic practices.
Today, returning to my hometown after years of studies and work in both the sciences and humanities, I’ve decided to share with you something I’ve cherished for so many years: the olive oil of my homeland!
Together with my father, Yiannis, we combine traditional techniques with modern methods of organic farming to deliver an exceptional product. One that reflects the quality, tradition, and respect we have for the land that sustains us.

Liogennito’s land
Located in the village of Prosymna, a semi-mountainous village with a long-standing tradition in olive oil production, this land lies at an altitude of 250 meters and spans a fertile basin covering 31 square kilometers. The village derives its name from the ancient city of Prosymna, named after the nurse of Hera and daughter of Asterion, Prosymna. Just 14 kilometers from the historic site of Mycenae, this land is deeply rooted in history and dedicated to the art of olive oil cultivation.
